Israeli Forces Detain Two Palestinian Women in West Bank Raid

Hebron: Israeli occupation forces conducted a raid on Idhna town, west of Hebron in the West Bank, arresting two Palestinian women, as reported by local sources. The forces broke into a home, arresting one woman after a search operation that involved vandalizing the house and its contents.

According to Qatar News Agency, during the raid, Israeli forces seized a vehicle, a sum of money, and gold jewelry. Another house in the Khillet Ibrahim area was also stormed, resulting in the arrest of a second woman. The ongoing raids in the town have led to main and secondary entrances being sealed off.

The sources noted that the occupation forces regularly conduct large-scale demolition operations, detention campaigns, and field interrogations. In addition, they have opened fire, forcibly shut down commercial shops, and imposed a new reality on the town. Since the start of the war of annihilation against the Gaza Strip in October 2023, detention operations have increased as part of a collective punishment policy against the Palestinians in the West Bank.
