Hebbariyeh: The Israeli entity kidnapped today a Lebanese citizen in the Arqoub region of southern Lebanon. The Lebanese National News Agency reported that an Israeli military force infiltrated on foot into the town of Hebbariyeh in the Arqoub region of Hasbaya municipality and kidnapped a Lebanese man.

According to Qatar News Agency, a ceasefire agreement in southern Lebanon came into effect on Nov. 27, 2024, which required the withdrawal of Israeli forces from border villages and towns in southern Lebanon within 60 days. However, the Beirut government later agreed to extend the deadline until Feb. 18. Despite these agreements, the occupation army has remained in five locations and continues its violations, which have exceeded 7,000 air violations and more than 2,400 military activities in the area under the operations of UNIFIL forces in southern Lebanon since November.
