Gaza city: A number of Palestinians were killed and others injured in an Israeli bombardment of Gaza City this evening. Local sources said that the Israeli bombing targeted three homes near the university college in the Tal Al Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City, leaving a number of people dead and wounded.

According to Qatar News Agency, Palestinian medical sources announced earlier Monday that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip had risen to 61,499 martyrs and 153,575 wounded. This is a preliminary toll, with a number of victims remaining under the rubble and on the streets as ambulance and rescue crews cannot reach them.
