Israeli Airstrikes on Several Parts of Gaza Kill Four Palestinians

Gaza City: Four Palestinians were killed and others injured Tuesday as a result of Israeli shelling of various areas in the Gaza Strip.

According to Qatar News Agency, medical sources reported that a Palestinian was killed due to Israeli shelling near the Morag area, south of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip. Additionally, a girl succumbed to her wounds from an earlier shelling in the town of Bani Suheila, east of Khan Yunis, which also claimed the lives of her mother and five siblings.

In a separate incident in Gaza City, an airstrike targeted a gathering on Al Nasr Street, resulting in the death of one person. Furthermore, the Israeli forces bombed a residential house in the Beit Lahia project in the northern Gaza Strip, killing six civilians, including three women and children from a single family.

Israeli forces positioned east of the Shuja'iyya neighborhood in eastern Gaza City continued firing at Palestinian homes and lands. Additionally, Israeli drones launched attacks on homes in Block C and near the Al Qassam Mosque in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

The recent escalation in Gaza began at dawn on March 18, following a two-month ceasefire that started on January 19. Despite the ceasefire, the Israeli occupation reportedly violated its terms, continuing to bomb various areas in the Gaza Strip, resulting in casualties and injuries. The Israeli forces also allegedly failed to adhere to the humanitarian protocol and intensified the siege on the region, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis.
