Israeli Airstrike Causes Material Damages in Vicinity of Syrian Homs

The Israeli occupation carried an airstrike on areas near the central Syrian city of Homs early Sunday, causing material damage but no casualties.

Syrian news agency (SANA) quoted a military source as saying “The Israeli enemy launched an aerial act of aggression from the direction of northeastern Beirut, targeting some sites in the vicinity of Homs City.” The source added that the Syrian air defenses repelled the aggression which only caused a material damage.

On April 29, 2023, Israel carried an airstrike on positions in the vicinity of Homs leaving 3 civilians injured and a petrol station as well as some trucks in flames.

On April 3, two Syrian civilians were killed in an Israeli missile attack that targeted positions in the vicinity of Damascus.

A Syrian soldier was killed, and five others as well as two civilians were wounded in an Israeli missile attack that targeted Aleppo city on May 1.

Over the past years, the Israeli occupation has carried several air strikes on different locations in Syria, killing a number of civilians and military personnel.
