Doha: Israel occupation forces arrested five Palestinian youths today in the town of Tamoun, city of Al-Bireh, and Jalazone refugee camp north of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank.

According to Qatar News Agency, the occupation forces arrested the Palestinian youths after raiding their homes.

Israel occupation forces are also continuing their aggression on the city of Tulkarm and its refugee camps, Tulkarm and Nur Shams, for the 16th consecutive day, amidst escalating military operations accompanied by widespread destruction of infrastructure and properties, arrests, and forced displacement of thousands of camp residents.

The arrest operations in the West Bank have significantly escalated since the beginning of the genocide campaign on the Gaza Strip in Oct. 2023, affecting thousands of young people and becoming a prominent tool in the "collective punishment" policy against Palestinians in the West Bank.
