Discussions during the meeting reportedly touched on security cooperation between Iraq and Lebanon in all dossiers, especially those related to cross-border crime, emphasizing the necessity of intelligence coordination in order to address security challenges. The meeting also dwelt on Lebanon's participation in the "Second Baghdad International Conference on Drug Control' and the importance of developing joint efforts to confront this scourge, which threatens the security of all countries in the region and their societies.
