Iraq, Azerbaijan FMs Talk Bilateral Ties, Global Developments

Baghdad: Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein and his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov discussed bilateral relations in a meeting in Baghdad on Wednesday. The discussions focused on enhancing the collaboration between the two nations.

According to Qatar News Agency, Hussein mentioned in a press conference following the talks that both parties assessed the latest global developments. The ministers addressed the escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, emphasizing the importance of dialogue as a means for resolving the disputes between the neighboring countries.

The meeting also covered the ongoing situations in Syria and Palestine. Both ministers underscored the necessity of finding a peaceful resolution to the conflict in Gaza, reflecting their shared commitment to regional stability and peace.
