Doha: Iraq’s Military Intelligence Directorate announced the arrest of five ISIS militants in the capital, Baghdad.

According to Qatar News Agency, the arrests were a result of several special operations conducted in collaboration with other security agencies. The operations led to the apprehension of two ISIS members in the northern part of Baghdad and three others in the southern part of the city. The arrests mark a significant development in Iraq’s ongoing efforts to dismantle ISIS networks within its borders.
