Iran, IAEA Hold Technical Discussions Ahead of Geneva Negotiations

Tehran: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi met Monday with International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi ahead of the new round of nuclear negotiations between Iran and the United States in Geneva, scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday. Grossi stated on his X platform that he concluded in-depth technical discussions with the Iranian Foreign Minister in preparation for the important negotiations to be held in Geneva.

According to Qatar News Agency, earlier today, the Iranian Foreign Minister had mentioned that he would meet with Grossi for detailed technical discussions. The Iranian Foreign Minister also indicated that he would meet with his Omani counterpart, Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, before the start of negotiations with the United States.

It is worth noting that the Omani capital, Muscat, hosted the first round of indirect negotiations between the two sides earlier this month, since Washington launched strikes on several sites in Iran last June.
