IOF Arrests 10 Civilians in West Bank

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested in the past ten hours or so at least ten Palestinian civilians in the West Bank, including a woman and freed captives.

In a joint statement, Palestinian Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) said that the arrests took place across the governorates of Al-Khalil, Bethlehem, Tubas and Nablus, adding that they were accompanied by threats, attacks and assault against the detainees and their families, in addition to destruction and vandalism to Palestinians’ homes.

The IOF arrested more than 10,200 Palestinian civilians in the West Bank since the beginning of the Israeli occupation’s ongoing genocide and relentless aggression on the Gaza Strip, the statement added.

Data on arrests include detainees from the West Bank, excluding Gaza, whose numbers are estimated in the thousands.

The IOF continues to implement systematic arrests, as one of its most prominent established policies, which escalated in an unprecedent
ed manner after October 2023, not only in terms of the number of detainees, but also in terms of the level of crimes committed.
