The Ministry of Information condemned the Ukrainian regime’s targeting of media cadres covering military operations.

The ministry said in a statement that it received with sadness the news of passing away Rostislav Zhuravlev, a war correspondent for RIA Novosti news agency, and three other journalists were injured .

The ministry condemned in strongest term the crime committed by Ukrainian regime in direct bombing of media cadres covering military operations.

The crime reminds of the complete correspondence between Ukrainian bombing and targeting of Syrian media personnel by bullets and booby-traps from terrorist organizations, causing the martyrdom of Syrian journalists and others injured for the sake of conveying the truth to people to confront the Western forgery and misleading, as the Ministry added.

The ministry concluded that “The common denominator between terrorist organizations and Kiev regime is the same operator which is the United States of America and its European followers, therefore, they are same responsible for these crimes.”.
