New delhi: Indian External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar engaged in discussions with South Korean Foreign Minister Cho Hyun in New Delhi to explore avenues for enhancing bilateral ties between the two nations.
According to Qatar News Agency, the talks focused on expanding cooperation in various sectors, with an emphasis on economic security, supply chains, emerging technologies, and the defense industry. This meeting marks a decade since the establishment of the India-South Korea strategic partnership, with both countries committing to elevate their relations to new levels.
In a post on X, Jaishankar emphasized the progress made in trade, industry, maritime cooperation, and people-to-people exchanges between India and South Korea. He also highlighted the new opportunities arising in fields such as artificial intelligence, clean energy, and defense collaboration, signaling a robust future for the strategic partnership.
