Doha: Human Rights Watch warned against the Israeli entity replicating its violations in the Gaza Strip during its aggression in the occupied West Bank. In a statement, the organization said that “Israeli tanks rolled into the occupied West Bank for the first time in two decades”, noting that the Israeli military operation, which focuses on the northern West Bank, is the longest since the Second Intifada.
According to Qatar News Agency, the organization highlighted that Israeli forces have destroyed scores of homes and critical infrastructure, including multiple kilometers of sewage networks and water pipelines in Jenin. Human Rights Watch called on countries to take action “to prevent further atrocities across the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including by imposing targeted sanctions on those implicated in ongoing grave abuses”.
The Israeli occupation continues its aggression on the cities and camps of the occupied West Bank, leaving dozens of martyrs and wounded, especially in Jenin, Tubas and Tulkarm, where Palestinians have been subjected to escalating crimes since last January.
