His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today sent a cable of congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, following the achievement acclaimed by the Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, and the Captain of the Royal Endurance Team, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who won first place in the FEI Endurance World Championship, making him the champion of the 160 kilometre race in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister commended Bahrain’s achievements in all sports competitions regionally and globally, in particular the endurance sport, thanks to the support of HM the King.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister commended the role of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad in supporting the sports sector in the Kingdom, noting the outstanding performance of the Royal Endurance Team in the championship.
