Hot, Hazy Weather Expected Today Across Regions

Doha: The region is set to experience hot and hazy weather conditions today, with intermittent cloud cover, according to reports.

According to Qatar News Agency, the wind inshore is expected to start as variable before shifting to a northwesterly to northeasterly direction, blowing at speeds of 5 - 15 KT, with gusts reaching up to 20 KT in certain areas during the daytime. Offshore, the wind will initially be variable, transitioning to a southeasterly to northeasterly direction at similar speeds, with gusts potentially hitting 20 KT in eastern regions at times.

The sea state is anticipated to be 1 - 3 ft inshore, while offshore conditions will range from 2 - 4 ft, occasionally rising to 6 ft in eastern areas. Visibility both inshore and offshore is expected to range between 4 - 9 km.

Temperature highs and lows will vary across different areas, with Doha experiencing a low of 33°C and a high of 41°C. Mesaieed and Wakrah will see temperatures ranging from 30°C to 42°C and 30°C to 41°C respectively. Al Khor will experience temperatures between 31°C and 40°C, while Ruwais will range from 33°C to 37°C. Dukhan will have a low of 29°C and a high of 39°C, and Abu Samra is expected to reach a high of 45°C with a low of 30°C.
