Hot, Hazy Weather Expected Across Qatar

Doha: Inshore weather until 6:00 pm on Thursday will be hot to very hot daytime with some clouds at times, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report. Offshore, it will see some clouds and will be hazy at times, the report added.

According to Qatar News Agency, wind inshore will be southwesterly at a speed of 5 - 10 KT at first, shifting to northwesterly to northeasterly at a speed of 6 - 16 KT, gusting to 25 KT at places during the daytime. Offshore, the wind will be mainly southwesterly to northwesterly at a speed of 2 - 12 KT.

The sea state inshore will range from 1 - 2 feet, while offshore will be 1 - 3 feet. Visibility inshore is expected to be between 5 - 10 km, while offshore visibility will range from 5 - 9 km.

Temperature forecasts for different areas include Doha with a low of 33°C and a high of 44°C. Mesaieed will experience temperatures between 29°C and 45°C. Wakrah will see a range from 31°C to 41°C, and Al Khor will have temperatures from 28°C to 44°C. Ruwais will have a minimum of 29°C and a maximum of 37°C. Dukhan's temperatures will range from 27°C to 41°C, and Abu Samra will experience temperatures between 26°C and 43°C.

The sunrise is expected at 04:50 LT, with sunset at 18:27 LT.
