Horse Silawi Storms to Victory in Winter Hill Stakes in England

Windsor: The horse Silawi, owned by Wathnan Racing, clinched the Weatherbys Global Stallions App Winter Hill Stakes (Group 3) for three-plus-year-old thoroughbreds, over 2,000 meters at Windsor Racecourse in England. The victory marks another achievement for Silawi, which has shown consistent performance on the track.

According to Qatar News Agency, the horse crossed the finish line first under the guidance of trainer Hamad Al Jehani and ridden by jockey Cieren Fallon. Their combined efforts ensured that Silawi maintained a strong lead throughout the race, securing the top spot.

Coming in second was Military Order, owned by Godolphin, trained by Charlie Appleby, and ridden by Billy Loughnane. The race was competitive, but Military Order managed to secure the runner-up position, showcasing a commendable performance.

Royal Playwright, owned by J C Smith, trained by Andrew Balding, and ridden by Rob Hornby, crossed the finish third. The horse demonstrated determination, adding to the excitement of the race.

Previously, Silawi had also triumphed at the same course in May, winning the Thorn Plant Hire Limited Stakes. This previous victory underscores the horse's strong affinity with the Windsor Racecourse, making the recent win a continuation of its successful track record.
