Doha: Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), through its Hamad Trauma Center and in collaboration with the Department of Medical Education, has successfully concluded its third series of training courses focusing on trauma care. This initiative included the DSTCTM (Definitive Surgical Trauma Care), DATC (Definitive Anesthetic Trauma Care), and DPNTC (Definitive Perioperative Nurses Trauma Care) courses, conducted in partnership with the World Health Organization (WHO) War Surgery Program from February 3 to 6, 2025.
According to Qatar News Agency, the training courses were designed to enhance the skills and expertise of medical professionals such as surgeons, anesthesiologists, anesthesia technicians, intensivists, and perioperative and trauma nurses. A total of 44 participants from relevant authorities attended the courses to improve their capabilities in managing perioperative periods and trauma injuries effectively.
The success of these programs highlights the commitment of Hamad Trauma Center to delivering high-quality trauma education and patient care.
