Doha: HH the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani sent a cable of congratulations to HE President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari on the anniversary of his country's Independence Day.

According to Qatar News Agency, the message was sent as part of the celebrations marking Pakistan's Independence Day. It reflects the strong bilateral relations and the cordial ties between Qatar and Pakistan.
