Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani’s address at the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit, held in Doha, captured the attention of Qatari newspapers today.

According to Qatar News Agency, the speech emphasized the urgent need for unity in confronting threats to Arab and Islamic nations, underscoring the current dangers that jeopardize joint Arab action and regional development projects.

Newspapers highlighted the summit’s role in defending national sovereignty and supporting the Palestinian cause. Leaders at the summit, as well as the final statement, condemned the Israeli attack targeting the residential area housing families of Hamas leaders and negotiators in Doha. This act was described as a blatant violation of international laws and an attempt to undermine ceasefire efforts.
