HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim Reshuffles Cabinet with New Appointments.

Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani has issued Amiri Order No. 2 of 2024, announcing a reshuffle of the Cabinet. The changes were made public on Monday and are set to take effect immediately, with official publication in the state gazette. According to Qatar News Agency, the reshuffle introduces several key appointments. HE Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan bin Ali Al-Thani has been named as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs. HE Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi takes over as Minister of Social Development and Family, while HE Lolwah bint Rashid bin Mohammed Al Khater assumes the role of Minister of Education and Higher Education. In the health sector, HE Mansoor bin Ebrahim bin Saad Al Mahmoud has been appointed as Minister of Public Health. HE Sheikh Faisal bin Thani bin Faisal Al-Thani is now the Minister of Commerce and Industry, and HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Thani has been assigned as Minister of Transport. These appointments are part of a broader strategy to align the Cabinet's composition with the state's current priorities and goals. The reshuffle reflects the Amir's commitment to fostering leadership that addresses the dynamic needs of the nation.
