Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani sent a cable of congratulations to HE Governor-General of the Independent State of Papua New Guinea Sir Bob Dadae on the anniversary of his country’s Independence Day.

According to Qatar News Agency, the message from HH the Amir marks a gesture of goodwill and recognition of Papua New Guinea’s national celebration. Sir Bob Dadae, as the representative of the country, received the congratulatory message with acknowledgment of the ongoing diplomatic relations between Qatar and Papua New Guinea.
