Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a phone call today from HE President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. During the conversation, President Tokayev firmly expressed Kazakhstan's solidarity with Qatar following the Iranian attack on Al Udeid Air Base.
According to Qatar News Agency, President Tokayev condemned the attack, labeling it a blatant violation of Qatar's sovereignty and airspace, as well as a breach of international law and the United Nations Charter. He emphasized Kazakhstan's rejection of any form of aggression that jeopardizes the security and safety of Qatar and the broader region, urging HH the Amir to maintain self-restraint and prioritize diplomatic solutions.
In response, HH the Amir expressed gratitude to President Tokayev for his genuine support and solidarity with Qatar and its citizens.
