Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a phone call on Sunday from HE President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Dr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud. During the conversation, President Mohamud inquired about the situation in Qatar following recent Iranian attacks and expressed Somalia's full solidarity with Qatar.

According to Qatar News Agency, HH the Amir expressed his gratitude to President Mohamud for his support and highlighted the strong fraternal relations between Qatar and Somalia. Both leaders emphasized the importance of prioritizing dialogue and diplomacy to resolve the ongoing crisis, aiming to prevent further escalation in the region.
