Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a phone call from HE President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, on Friday.

According to Qatar News Agency, the President of Venezuela expressed his country's solidarity with Qatar, condemning the Iranian attack on Al Udeid Air Base. This incident was described as a blatant violation of Qatar's sovereignty and airspace, as well as a breach of international law and the United Nations Charter.

The Venezuelan President emphasized his country's strong rejection of any act of aggression that threatens Qatar's security and safety, as well as the broader stability of the region.

In response, HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani thanked President Maduro for his genuine support and the solidarity shown toward Qatar and its citizens.
