HH the Amir, President of Costa Rica Unveil ACE Award Monument.


San Jose: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and HE President of the Republic of Costa Rica Rodrigo Chavez Robles today unveiled the eighth edition of the HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani Anti-Corruption Excellence Award monument, which is organized in cooperation with the United Nations, in Parque Espana in the capital San Jose. The unveiling ceremony marked a significant moment in the ongoing global effort to combat corruption and promote transparency.

According to Qatar News Agency, the event was attended by several dignitaries, including members of the official delegation accompanying HH the Amir, as well as members of the High-Level Award Committee and the award’s Assessment Advisory Board. The monument symbolizes the commitment of both Qatar and Costa Rica, alongside the United Nations, to uphold the values of integrity and accountability in governance.

The Anti-Corruption Excellence Award was established to recognize and encourage individuals and organizations globally that have made signi
ficant contributions to the fight against corruption. The partnership with the United Nations highlights the international dimension of this endeavor and underscores the importance of collaborative efforts in addressing corruption worldwide.
