Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a phone call from HE Prime Minister of the Republic of India Narendra Modi, during which significant regional security concerns were discussed.

According to Qatar News Agency, during the call, HE the Prime Minister of India expressed strong solidarity with Qatar in light of a recent Israeli attack targeting residential headquarters of several Hamas leaders. HE Modi condemned the attack, labeling it a blatant violation of international laws and a serious threat to regional security, specifically to Qatar and its neighboring countries.

HE the Prime Minister emphasized India's firm stance against any acts of aggression that compromise the safety and security of Qatar, highlighting the importance of maintaining stability in the region.

In response, HH the Amir assured that Qatar would take all necessary actions to safeguard its security and uphold its sovereignty in the wake of the attack. His Highness expressed gratitude towards India's Prime Minister for his heartfelt support and the solidarity shown by India towards Qatar and its people.
