Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani engaged in a phone conversation with Lt. Gen. Abdel Fattah Al Burhan, the Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council of Sudan.

According to Qatar News Agency, during the call, the Chairman expressed Sudan's solidarity and support for Qatar following the Iranian aggression. HH the Amir conveyed his gratitude for Sudan's support and emphasized the importance of Sudan's stability for regional peace.

The discussion also covered regional security developments and their impact on global peace. Both leaders stressed the need for restraint and increased diplomatic efforts to ensure regional stability.
