Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met in his office at the Amiri Diwan on Wednesday morning with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov, and the accompanying delegation, on the occasion of his visit to the country.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting focused on cooperation between the two friendly countries and ways to enhance them, particularly in the fields of energy and investment. The discussions also covered key regional and international developments, reflecting the commitment of both nations to address crucial global issues.

HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani was also present during the meeting, underscoring the significance of the diplomatic engagement between Qatar and Russia.
