Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani issued Amiri Decision No. (63) of 2025, appointing Yousuf Mohammed Ahmed Mohammed Al Hail as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The decision is effective starting from its date of issue, and is to be published in the official gazette.

According to Qatar News Agency, this diplomatic appointment signifies a continued emphasis on strengthening relations between Qatar and Nigeria. The newly appointed ambassador, Yousuf Mohammed Ahmed Mohammed Al Hail, will undertake his duties as the official representative of Qatar in Nigeria, fostering bilateral relations and cooperation.
