Cairo: H the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met with HE President of the Republic of Lebanon Joseph Aoun on Tuesday during the sidelines of the Extraordinary Arab Summit in Cairo, Egypt.

According to Qatar News Agency, the leaders engaged in discussions concerning the bilateral relations between Qatar and Lebanon, focusing on methods to enhance these ties. The dialogue also covered recent regional and international developments of mutual interest. Both leaders exchanged views on various topics on the summit's agenda, emphasizing the importance of promoting joint Arab action.

The meeting witnessed the presence of several high-ranking officials from both countries. From Qatar, HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, HE Chief of the Amiri Diwan Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi, and other members of the official delegation attended the meeting. The Lebanese side included several senior officials accompanying HE the President, illustrating the importance of the discussions held.
