Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a phone call from HE President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Dr. Shavkat Mirziyoyev, focusing on regional security challenges following recent events.

According to Qatar News Agency, during the conversation, President Mirziyoyev expressed strong solidarity with Qatar, condemning the recent Israeli attack. He described the attack as a blatant violation of international laws and norms, posing a significant threat to the security of Qatar and the broader region.

President Mirziyoyev also acknowledged the influential role played by HH the Amir and the State of Qatar in mediating and resolving global conflicts, highlighting Qatar's efforts in promoting peace and stability.

On his part, HH the Amir assured that Qatar would undertake all necessary actions to safeguard its security, territorial integrity, and sovereignty amidst the Israeli aggression. He also conveyed gratitude towards President Mirziyoyev and the people of Uzbekistan for their heartfelt support and solidarity with Qatar.
