Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a phone call from HE Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany Friedrich Merz on Tuesday. During the conversation, Chancellor Merz expressed Germany's solidarity with Qatar, condemning the recent Israeli attack on residential compounds of several Hamas leaders. He labeled the attack as a flagrant violation of international laws and a threat to regional security.

According to Qatar News Agency, Chancellor Merz reiterated Germany's stance against any aggression threatening the security and safety of Qatar. He emphasized the importance of maintaining regional stability and condemned actions that undermine peace.

Meanwhile, HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani assured that Qatar would take necessary measures to ensure its security and sovereignty in response to the attack. He conveyed his appreciation for Germany's support and solidarity with Qatar during these challenging times.
