Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a phone call from HE the Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Dr. Abiy Ahmed Ali, expressing solidarity and concern over recent developments.

According to Qatar News Agency, during the conversation, the Ethiopian Prime Minister conveyed his deep concern regarding the Israeli attack on Qatar, describing it as a blatant violation of international laws and norms and a significant threat to the security of Qatar and the region. He commended the efforts of HH the Amir and the State of Qatar in their roles as mediators in global conflicts.

The Ethiopian Prime Minister extended his condolences to HH the Amir for the loss of lives in the attack. In response, HH the Amir assured that Qatar would employ all necessary measures to protect its security and sovereignty. He expressed gratitude for Ethiopia's solidarity and support towards Qatar and its people during this challenging time.
