Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani engaged in a phone conversation with HE Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Keir Starmer to discuss the bilateral cooperation between Qatar and the UK, focusing on ways to support and enhance relations across various fields.

According to Qatar News Agency, the phone call, which took place on Wednesday, also addressed the latest regional and international developments. A significant portion of the discussion centered on the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories and the Gaza Strip. Both leaders emphasized the importance of ensuring sufficient humanitarian aid reaches the people of the Gaza Strip and highlighted the necessity of achieving an immediate ceasefire.
