Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, in his capacity as Chairman of the Supreme Council for Economic Affairs and Investment, presided over the Council's first meeting of 2025 at the Amiri Diwan on Monday.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting was attended by HH the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani, who serves as Vice Chairman of the Council, along with HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani and other esteemed Council members.

The Council reviewed the decisions and recommendations from its fourth meeting of 2024 and examined the project follow-up report. It was briefed on the progress report concerning the state's economic priorities, leading to the adoption of necessary decisions. Additionally, the Council considered various other agenda items and made appropriate decisions in relation to them.
