Damascus: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani arrived in Damascus on Thursday for an official visit to the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic. HE President of the Syrian Arab Republic, Ahmed Al-Sharaa, led the welcoming committee at Damascus International Airport to greet HH the Amir upon his arrival.

According to Qatar News Agency, prominent officials present at the airport included HE Prime Minister Mohammed Al-Bashir, HE Foreign and Expatriates Minister Asaad Al-Shaibani, HE Minister of Defense Murhaf Abu Qasra, along with several other officials and Their Excellencies members of the Qatari Embassy in Damascus. HH the Amir is accompanied by an official delegation during this visit.
