Abu dhabi: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani arrived in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates, where he was warmly welcomed at the Al Bateen Airport. HH President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan led the delegation that greeted the Amir and his accompanying officials.

According to Qatar News Agency, the reception for HH the Amir also included HH Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan and several other dignitaries. Among those present were HH Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and HH Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Other prominent figures included HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan and HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the UAE Dr. Sultan Salmeen Al Mansouri.

Earlier today, HH the Amir departed Doha, embarking on a fraternal visit to the UAE. He was accompanied by HH Personal Representative of HH the Amir Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani, HE President of the Olympic Council of Asia and President of the Qatar Olympic Committee Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani, and HE Chief of the Amiri Diwan Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi, among other esteemed Sheikhs.
