Abu dhabi: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani held discussions with HH President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi, focusing on regional and international developments and efforts to restore stability.
According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting addressed rapidly evolving developments in the region, including tensions linked to Iranian attacks and their security implications. The leaders also discussed the impact of recent events on global energy supplies and market stability.
HH the Amir emphasized the importance of prioritizing diplomatic solutions to conflicts, stressing the need for strengthened cooperation to safeguard regional security and limit global repercussions of ongoing crises.
The discussions also included bilateral relations between Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, with both sides underscoring the importance of continued coordination across key issues, reflecting strong fraternal ties and strategic partnership.
The meeting was attended by HH Personal Representative of HH the Amir Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani; HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani; and HE Chief of the Amiri Diwan Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi, along with several senior officials.
On the Emirati side, attendees included HH Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan; HH Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Adviser Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan; HH Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, along with other senior officials.
