Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a phone call from HE President of the Syrian Arab Republic Ahmed Al Sharaa. During the conversation, HE President Al Sharaa expressed Syria's condemnation of the ongoing Iranian aggression against Qatar and other countries in the region, highlighting the violation of sovereignty and the threat to regional security and stability.

According to Qatar News Agency, the call also covered the current developments in the region and the rapidly changing situation on the ground. Both leaders emphasized the importance of halting the escalation immediately and preventing any descent into chaos.

The discussion underscored the necessity to intensify regional and international efforts to foster conditions conducive to de-escalation. The leaders agreed on the importance of pursuing political and diplomatic solutions in line with United Nations principles to enhance regional security and stability.
