Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a phone call today from HE President of the Syrian Arab Republic Ahmed Al Sharaa.

According to Qatar News Agency, during the call, HE the Syrian President expressed reassurance regarding the situation in Qatar and emphasized Syria's solidarity with Qatar against Iranian aggression. He affirmed Syria's support for initiatives that would bolster the security and stability of Qatar.

HH the Amir thanked HE the Syrian President for his expressions of solidarity and brotherly feelings. The dialogue extended to regional developments, focusing on their impact on both regional and international peace and stability. Both leaders underscored the necessity of restraint and de-escalation, advocating for increased diplomatic efforts to safeguard the region's security and prevent further tensions.
