Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and HE Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council of the Republic of Sudan, Lt. Gen. Abdel Fattah Al Burhan, conducted an official talks session today at the Amiri Diwan. HH the Amir welcomed the Sudanese delegation and expressed hopes for the visit to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two nations.

According to Qatar News Agency, HE Chairman Al Burhan expressed gratitude for the warm reception and reiterated his commitment to strengthening the bilateral relations that serve the interests of both countries. The meeting explored ways to enhance cooperation across various fields and addressed developments in Sudan. Discussions included international efforts to ensure security, stability, and the unity of Sudan.

The leaders also exchanged views on regional and international developments of mutual interest. The meeting was attended by prominent officials from both sides, including HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani and Sudanese Foreign Minister Mohi El Din Salem, among others.
