HH the Amir and Saudi Crown Prince Discuss Bilateral Relations at GCC-US Summit

Riyadh: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met with HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, on the sidelines of the GCC-US Summit at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Riyadh.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting began with HRH the Saudi Crown Prince conveying the greetings of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to HH the Amir. The Crown Prince also expressed wishes for the continued health and happiness of HH the Amir and prosperity for the Qatari people.

HH the Amir reciprocated by sending his greetings and well wishes to King Salman, wishing him good health and prosperity for the people of Saudi Arabia. The discussions focused on strengthening the fraternal relations between Qatar and Saudi Arabia and exploring ways to enhance these ties for mutual benefit. Both leaders also reviewed regional and international developments and the main topics on the summit's agenda.

The meeting was attended by HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, along with members of the Qatari delegation. The Saudi side included HRH Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
