Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani engaged in a conversation with HE Prime Minister of the Italian Republic, Giorgia Meloni, focusing on significant regional and international developments of shared interest. This discussion took place during a phone call received by HH the Amir from the Italian Prime Minister.

According to Qatar News Agency, the dialogue also covered the recent attacks on the Islamic Republic of Iran, particularly targeting its nuclear facilities. Both leaders emphasized the importance of resuming dialogue and diplomatic initiatives to address the ongoing issues.

Furthermore, the conversation included a review of the bilateral relations between Qatar and Italy, with both parties exploring avenues to further strengthen and develop their cooperation.
