Helsinki: Finland's foreign ministry summoned the Russian ambassador to Helsinki regarding a suspected violation of Finnish airspace.

According to Qatar News Agency, in a post on the social media platform X, the ministry stated that they summoned the Russian ambassador to request an explanation regarding a suspected violation of Finnish airspace.

The Finnish Ministry of Defense had previously announced that a Russian aircraft was suspected of violating the Finnish airspace over the Gulf of Finland. It is worth mentioning that the Russian Ministry of Defense repeatedly declares that its aircraft carry out their flights in accordance with the rules of international law.
