Gaza, The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) announced that seven civilian hostages were killed in the Israeli occupation forces’ aggression on the Jabalia refugee camp in the besieged Gaza Strip on Tuesday.
In a statement transmitted by the Palestinian Information Center, Al Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, said that among the seven hostages killed were three foreign passport holders.
Al Qassam Brigades have previously announced that around 50 of the Israeli hostages it held were killed as a result of the Israeli bombing. Similarly, Al Quds Brigades, the military arm of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad have announced that some of the hostages they kept were also killed due to the bombing.
Tuesday evening, Israeli warplanes bombarded an entire neighborhood in the Jabalia refugee camp north of the Gaza Strip, leaving hundreds of civilians killed and injured, mostly women and children.
This morning, the Israeli occupation army announced that 9 of its soldiers were killed during clashes with the Palestinian resistance in the northern Gaza Strip, in addition to two soldiers killed yesterday, bringing the death toll of both yesterday and today to 11 soldiers.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that 8,610 martyrs were killed and more than 23,000 were wounded since the start of the ongoing and unprecedented occupation aggression against the Gaza Strip and the West Bank on October 7.
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) indicated that 70 percent of those martyred in the Gaza Strip as a result of the occupation raids were children and women.
