Doha: Israeli occupation forces and settlers continued their escalating attacks on towns and neighborhoods across the governorate through repeated raids and assaults on citizens and their property.

According to Qatar News Agency, the governorate explained that occupation forces carried out raids on several towns and neighborhoods, using tear gas and sound grenades and pursuing residents, creating an atmosphere of tension and fear, particularly among children and women.

The governorate noted that these actions are part of a systematic policy aimed at tightening restrictions on Jerusalemites and imposing new facts on the ground. Settler attacks, carried out under the protection of occupation forces, included assaults on property and land.

The statement affirmed that these practices constitute a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and relevant UN resolutions, holding the occupation authorities fully responsible for the consequences of this escalation.

The governorate called on the international community, as well as human rights and humanitarian institutions, to assume their responsibilities and take urgent action to stop the crimes of the occupation and settlers against the Palestinian people in Occupied Jerusalem.
