Gaza: The Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip revealed that the starvation imposed by the Israeli occupation in the Gaza Strip has killed 58 Palestinians due to malnutrition, 242 others due to food and medicine shortages, including 26 kidney patients, and caused 300 miscarriages among pregnant women during the 80 days of the Israeli blockade following their violation of the ceasefire agreement.
According to Qatar News Agency, the media office expressed deep concern and condemnation over the worsening humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip. The office cited the occupation's systematic starvation methods and the blockade preventing the entry of food, medical supplies, and fuel for 80 consecutive days as a clear crime that amounts to genocide. This situation threatens the lives of more than 2.4 million Palestinians in the besieged region.
The report highlighted that since March 2, 2025, the Israeli occupation has not permitted any humanitarian aid or fuel trucks to enter the Gaza Strip, despite the urgent need for at least 44,000 trucks to meet the basic needs of the population during this period.
The complete closure of all crossings has occurred in violation of international laws and norms, with the international community as a witness. The report emphasized that the humanitarian situation in Gaza has reached catastrophic levels.
The media office urged countries worldwide, the international community, the United Nations, and humanitarian and human rights organizations to take immediate action to open all crossings and allow essential supplies into the Gaza Strip. It stated that the region requires 500 aid trucks and 50 fuel trucks daily for vital and medical facilities.
Furthermore, the office called on the International Criminal Court and human rights organizations to prosecute Israeli occupation leaders as war criminals, holding them accountable before international courts to halt these massacres and violations.
Since March 18, Israeli occupation forces have resumed aggression on the Gaza Strip, launching airstrikes across the territory, resulting in over 12,000 Palestinian casualties.
