Gold Prices Hold Steady in Early Asian Trade as Markets Watch US Trade Talks and ECB Policy

Doha: Gold prices held steady in early Asian trade on Monday: as markets closely monitored developments in US trade talks and anticipated the European Central Bank's upcoming policy decision. Spot gold edged up 0.1% to $3,353.81 per ounce, while US gold futures remained steady at $3,360.50.

According to Qatar News Agency, among other precious metals, spot silver rose 0.2% to $38.24 per ounce, platinum added 0.4% to $1,427.05, and palladium gained 0.6% to $1,248.50. The stability in gold prices reflects the cautious approach of investors as they await significant global economic updates.
